Refund policy

  • At MYS (Make Your Salon Furniture), we strive to provide high-quality equipment. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, subject to the terms below.

    1. Return Shipping Costs

    Please read carefully:

    • Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

    • High Cost Warning: Please be aware that returning heavy salon furniture (freight/LTL) can be expensive (typically $100 - $300+ per item depending on your location). We recommend getting a shipping quote before initiating a return.

    • Use Your Own Carrier: You may choose your own carrier to ship the items back to our warehouse, or we can provide a label/BOL and deduct the cost from your refund.

    2. Restocking Fee (Optional but Recommended)

    • All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. This fee covers inspection, repacking, and warehouse handling labor.

    • The restocking fee will be deducted from your final refund amount.

    3. Eligibility Requirements

    To qualify for a refund, the item must be:

    • In Original Packaging: We cannot accept returns that are not in their original factory boxes with all protective packing materials. Freight carriers will not pick up unpackaged items.

    • Unused & Resellable: The item must be in new condition with no signs of wear, styling product residue, or damage.

    • Timeframe: The return request must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.

    4. How to Initiate a Return

    1. Request an RMA: Email chunhuili@makeyoursalonfurniture.com with your Order #.

    2. Approval: We will review your request and provide our warehouse return address and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

    3. Ship It Back: Arrange shipping with a carrier of your choice (FedEx, UPS, or Freight). You must purchase shipping insurance. If the item is damaged during the return trip, we cannot issue a refund, and you will need to claim damages from your carrier.

    4. Tracking: You must provide us with the tracking number.

    5. Refunds

    Once received and inspected at our warehouse:

    • If the item is in good condition, we will issue a refund for the purchase price, minus the restocking fee (if applicable).

    • Original shipping charges (if you paid for shipping at checkout) are non-refundable.

    • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

    6. Damaged or Defective Items (Our Fault)

    The above policy applies to "Buyer's Remorse" returns. If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will cover all costs.

    • Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.

    • We will send a replacement part or unit and provide a prepaid return label for the defective unit if needed.
